As Co-founder of Akraya and Founder of Women Back to Work, Sonu Ratra is a strong believer that with success comes responsibility. Ratra has been recognized as a highly motivated and focused thought-leader in the Talent and Staffing industry. An entrepreneur with a charitable heart, Ratra is passionate about giving back to the community. Over the years, she has been an avid supporter for women’s empowerment. Sonu currently spearheading a nationally recognized workforce re-entry program for Women - ‘Women Back to Work’.

Ratra serves on the National Advisory Board at the Institute of Economic Empowerment for Women. She has also served as the Chairwoman of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Foundation Board. Ratra has received several accolades including the Northwood’s Outstanding business leader award, Women of Influence award, the Business Journal’s Community Impact Individual Champion award, Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Doer’ award and is proud to be named as Staffing Industry Analysts Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Influencer.
