Founder and CEO

Melissa Bamberg is the founder and CEO of Nodpod, a bootstrapped female-founded company based in California. As the eldest of five girls in a family of artist, Melissa’s upbringing in Los Angeles fostered a deep appreciation for creativity and innovation.

With a background that spans small business ownership and a role as a pharmaceutical sales representative, Melissa’s diverse experiences converged when she founded Nodpod. This venture marked her foray into entrepreneurship, introducing the market to a pioneering weighted sleep mask.

Under Melissa’s leadership, Nodpod has achieved notable recognition, including Good Housekeeping Best Bedding Awards, GQ Best Sleep Mask, and her distinction as a 2023 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist for the San Francisco Bay Area region.

In the last three years, Nodpod has experienced rapid growth, securing placements in stores such as Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Paper Source, and the latest addition, Target.com.
